Update 2.2.0 veröffentlicht/released

Beitrag von supportteam »

(english version below)

Version 2.2.0 is released!

With regard to the new responsive themes, Merconis 2.2.0 has been structurally modified in terms of the integration of JS plugins. Merconis also modernized its architecture with a view to the coming enhancement of the JS ans Ajax features. Beyond that, Merconis doesn't deliver XHTML templates anymore and completely focuses on the contemporary HTML5 standard.

These changes are important for new Merconis installations with the responsive themes. Compared to version 2.1.8, Merconis 2.2.0 doesn't come with new features, so that an update of an existing 2.1.8 installation is not necessary. For shop owners using a 2.1.8 installation we recommend postponing the update, waiting for a later Merconis version that comes with features that are of special significance for the respective shop.
